Geodesic dome - Quigley Hall - Southern Illinois University

Blair,

I've been seeing recent photos of this Dome, Inc. geodesic again, on the internet.

I thought this was a temporary 2010 loan?

I'm guessing retrieving the dome is not the optimum outcome. Best result is the community embraces (and purchases) the framework. I've seen the struts. They are crushing, metaphorically speaking.

Yes, this dome is on loan to Southern Illinois University. It got some press last year when it became the focal point for the 'Occupy Carbondale' movement. I received a call a few weeks ago from a reporter trying to generate interest in the project, and I was told I was willing to donate the dome to the cause.
