This appears to be a newcomer: DomeConnectors.com
...in Tucumcari, New Mexico.

Webpages (at the bottom of each page) also list "2x4 Domes" as a company name.

The connectors appear to be heavy-gauge thermo-plastic plates, with mild deformation molding. The attached photo is the only one that shows the plates in any detail.

Information presented on the website is slight, and could provide a lot more detail. Perhaps the website is just starting up, even though the "copyright" statement starts at the year 2002.

Keeping an eye on their website updates....

Hello Group,

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, message intended for TaffGoch (Sketchup Expert).

I am trying to draw on sketchup 8 a rhombicuboctahedron geodome from measurements I have found from the following website

I am interested in the 2V/L2 5/8 dome. I like the height of the walls and the possibly easy attaching of doors and extra domes to each other.

I wanted to use sketchup so I could do a drawing of the different hubs and calculate some measurements I can work with on a cardboard frame.

When I plug in the angles from the webpage, the struts wont line up. So I will have a 6 struted hub, but there is a gap where they should all meet.

I am not sure why it will not work, if you have any suggestions or can point me to a tutorial I will be very grateful. Or, if you already have a model, a link would be great. :)

Thanks for reading.
Karl

P.S. I sent a question a few years ago, and your advice was very helpful.
