Strength via structure and not material

Dear All

I am known for my frustration with Fea and FEMA tools for predicting strengths of geodesic structures.

 The first article is the current issue is on diatoms and worth reading on its own.

It reinforces my  prejudice with the current tools.

The article has nature as an artist and as an architect that should attract geodesic lovers.
