Here's a recent interview with Steve Miller -- an artist, dome builder & former roofer, who lives in central Vermont, USA.

The video is rather long (about an hour), but I think your patience will be rewarded. The conversation is mostly about the construction of plydomes based on a Fuller patent, but also touches on Zomes, insulation, heating and metal roofing.
