This is 4v - not quite Krusche breakdown. I'd have to examine it more closely to determine which breakdown was used.

looks like a standar 6V equatorial cut, not any kruschke streches.
the nightview (lighted) top should carry the kruschke lesser circles
here and there, which i can not discover on the photos.

This is a 6 frequency, 7/18ths sphere; two rows of triangles short of a hemisphere at 9/18.

It's likely a Krushke dome with a horizontal truncation at the 7th ring of struts.

I was describing the illuminated portion of the dome. It's a hemisphere 9/18 as I found two missing rows of triangles.

All 7th, 8th and 9th truncation rings of struts are horizontal.

Yes, frequency times three is the denominator of the fraction. A full 5v sphere is 15/15 and you count 15 rows of triangles.

except 3v Class One Method One domes use 8ths instead of 9ths.

Eric,
It's not just you. Excess heat buildup was a problem for the Hollywood Hills dome, when it was first erected. Sun shade fabric was installed on the exterior to mitigate.

hi blair,
if you study the dayview pic, you can zoom in into rhe wooden stardeck
edge. i suppose the wooden deck is flat, and relative to that the hubs
are not in level.
under the stardeck, the 2 plus rows of triangles go down into the
mosaik stone sidewalk.
that level i guess is the 9/18 equator. the 6V is flat without
kruschke mods on the equator
