Dome home tour on Oct 1

Tomorrow, I will be visiting David Allard's Dome home in Great Barrington, MA.  It is part of the National Solar Tour that is held every October.  He not only lives in an energy efficient dome home he designed and built himself, but he also is into solar technologies.

I have a dome brochure from Allard Engineering highlighting their 6 domes, cover page scan attached.

The literature is well designed and illustrated, with sections on mathematics, foundations, floor planning, pricing, solar, environmental impact, insulation, floor systems, financing, windows and doors. Allard made their own operable skylights.

I'm confident the solar tour will show Allard's as a beautiful dome.
