From the author, Tim: I have written a little Python program to
calculate the coordinates and edge lengths of all the points on a geodesic
dome/sphere. This was to enable me to put the cartesian coordinates of each
point into a CAD program to speed up the generation of models. I thought you
might find it interesting, and could add it to your Links section.
As an example, here is a picture in CATIA of a frequency 9 dome with a 10 metre diameter. The second image is another one of a smaller frequency 5 sphere with a 4 metre diameter.
