New extreme west visit this year for Texas: GDFK-BANY

Number of previous hunts by losabuelos: 65
Today was a sunny day in Central Texas and we decided to go and visit what is probably our last GeoDash. I will miss looking at the locations published each month and looking at ones that we might try and attempt for the 3 points. In many ways it was easier in E. Utah where we lived until last November. In Utah there is an abundance of public land. Here in Texas; not so much. So we would look for GD's close to public roads, etc.
GDFK-BANY is north of Lorraine, Texas, in the middle of cotton fields, some hay, and a lot of wind turbines. We had a good drive and were able to get within 40 meters. I suppose I could have walked through the cotton field and perhaps got closer, but decided that 40 m was close enough.
It's been fun following everyone on their travels throughout the world and the many adventures you've all had. I guess we will now spend more time finding Geocaches. Thanks to all those behind the scenes that made this activity so enjoyable over the years.
