GDFH-AGYS is in the waters of Andrews Bay, a protected cove and anchorage on Lake Washington in Seattle, Washington.
Lake Washington is a large freshwater lake separating Seattle (on the west side) from Bellevue (on the east side) where I live. It's a popular boating destination and offers scenic views all around. Andrews Bay is a protected inlet off the lake, surrounded by a park, and popular as a swimming destination in the summer, although it's a bit cold right now to be in the water. Which is why I didn't have to get wet to score this.
My wife puts up with my dashing pursuits but hates when I go off road. We had a half hour to kill on our Friday date night between dinner and our next event, and this point was a short detour. She was thrilled to remain in the car in a parking lot 140 meters from the point while I hopped out to score the point.
The point was barely in tolerance from dry land, thanks to a pier/boat launch for hand carry boats that extended out into the bay just enough to let me stand on the end at 97 meters and snap a few evening twilight pictures of the bay/lake and several boats anchoring there overnight.
