So, even since I started playing this game, I don't receive the vast majority of list emails. Not sure why and I just never looked into it. But by pure luck I saw one discussing the end of the game. Which is where I apologize for being obtuse and unengaged for the last many years.

I had hoped to write an articulate, grand sendoff to Geodashing and thank Scout and the players for what this game meant to me for a long, long time. It was the only game that grabbed me from the start when I received my Garmin iQue was back when, and living in a densely populated part of New England made exploring the roads for drive-by scores a delight for many years. (I still marvel at how much I drove those years when I look at the mileage reported on tax returns...)

The move to Buffalo and death of the iQue severely limited my participation, obviously, but I still checked in once in a bit.

Last March, at the brink of the pandemic, I drove from the Canadian border to the Mexican border and back and briefly had ambitions of another century before the lack of money and even greater lack of time made me abandon that. Also, there just weren't that many drive-bys, which reiterated how lucky I was to be in New England for those months I got high score. (To the previous point, my mileage last year was *still* half of what it was in those early years...)

For the last eight or nine years I have been mostly living in Buffalo but splitting my time in Rochester. I scored this point on the drive from Buffalo to Rochester on June 21--for a while now I've been in just-get-there mode and have been wearing out I-90, so it was nice to have an excuse to take a more meandering route and enjoy the drive--and I'm so terribly slow reporting because...around ten days ago we had a baby (four weeks early...).

He's back up to weight and I've slowly been getting a bit more sleep, so here I am getting this filed before I go back to Buffalo for a night tomorrow--which was supposed to happen around ten days ago. But we all know how those plans got disrupted... (We had a few nights in the hospital, including one in the NICU, but mom and son are both home and healthy.)

So, my attempt to say thank you. My recent activity isn't a fair representation to the adventure and enjoyment this game provided.

As for the point...

It was on the north side of Ridge Road, which is also Route 104. I had it just east of the green, corrugared metal shed you can see in the satellite. I noted that it's between 6830 and 6839, but that doesn't make much sense; the utility pole it was beyond was marked 6827, so that's going to be the house to the west. 6830 must be a house across the street to the south.

I believe the shed belongs to 6839, which the satellite image seems to support. They had election signs for John Syracuse and Bouldeman in their yard.

Many thanks again. I hope all are well.
