Users would like the viewers to remember the settings from the last volume
displayed so that they don't have to redo the setup. Because the display
for a velocity volume is different than for a seismic volume, it would be
nice if the display type could be keyed off the entity data units.

An alternative might be to supply a list of types of displays that the
user could create or modify to suit their preferences.

New description:

Users would like the viewers to remember the settings from the last volume

displayed so that they don't have to redo the setup, especially when the
very same volume is selected for the same type of display. This would be
very helpful when the same type of volume is displayed in the same display
by dragging onto an existing plot, or the same type of display.

Because the display for a velocity volume is different than for a seismic
volume, it would be nice if the display type could be keyed off the entity
data units.

An alternative might be to supply a list of types of displays that the
user could create or modify to suit their preferences.
