snow leopard sources problems

I try your application on snow leopard and it works very well. But
when i try from python sources I get lots of messages and finally
aborts with:

QWidget: Must construct a QApplication before a QPaintDevice
./run.sh: line 64: 4925 Abort trap ./GeoApt.py

I have QGIS 1.6 and the frameworks from Kingchaos and PyQT4 installed
