Address data reliability

Thanks for providing that exchange area. I'm a developper and QA actually tasked with the subject of designing an auto-complete solution for postal address. 

What are the "reliability" of the address data compared to PostCH? How often is the data updated? Is the GeoAdminCH API directly linked with PostCH ?

Thanks for the question. The address data in the search service come from the Federal Register of Buildings and Dwellings: building status from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO)
This dataset has a daily automated update process, in order the most recent data from the register are available in geo.admin.ch's search service.
