I wonder why swisstopo removed the access to those scripts. I understand that REST services are more accurate and that swisstopo made great efforts for integrated solutions for GIS professionals (Rest Reframe API m2m, GeoSuite, Reframe, Transint, etc.).
The scripts would still be useful for some applications that:
- don't require precision, where "1 meter accuracy is enough" (eg. navigation, non-official information, approximation)
- need to be simple, run lightweight (eg. mobile, embedded, non-GIS applications)
- can't install X libraries or dependencies (eg. non-supported environnements by Geosuite)
- cannot rely on a stable internet connection (eg. offline, mobile applications)

Given the MIT licence, it should be no problem, but I found it honest to write it here, too.
