GeoBlacklight Issue Triage quarterly meetings: 2026

Hello everyone,

I'm pleased to announce a re-launch of the GeoBlacklight Issue Triage quarterly meetings. The goal of these meetings is to review and prioritize open issues in the GeoBlacklight GitHub repo. This work helps stage the most critical issues for future sprints, and it also helps members identify actionable ways they can contribute.

Up until 2025, the Issue Triage Working Group met quarterly to carry out this work (huge shout-out to Karen, Maura, Eliot, and Eric!). Rather than reconstitute a formal Working Group, this year we will experiment with holding open meetings where anyone can join and contribute to the conversation. I volunteered to schedule the meetings for 2026, after which point we can evaluate how it's going and plan for the next year.

Please mark your calendars for the following quarterly meetings in 2026, all at 11am Pacific - 12pm Mountain - 1pm Central - 2pm Eastern:

• Wed., February 25
• Wed., May 27
• Wed., August 26
• Wed., November 18
