noatime的含义

审校时感觉有些概念可能需要解释一下。当然也可能仅仅是讲法不同，那就当这篇是抛砖引玉了。
UNIX文件系统会在文件的inode里记录3个时间，分别是atime，mtime和ctime。stat一个文
件的时候可以看到。
atime是access time，就是访问时间，正常情况打开一个文件时就会改变inode里记录的at
ime。
mtime是modify time，是修改文件内容的时间。
ctime是change time，是修改inode里的信息的时间。
一般来说，正常情况下改动最频繁的就是atime，比如编译内核，编译一次要改变很多文件
的atime。对于一般桌面系统来说这样做有些太过了。一般用户不需要知道这个时间。
所以可以挂载时可以加上noatime来提高系统效率。

据此，我把这句话
To improve performance, most users would want to add the <c>noatime</c>
mount option, which results in a faster system since access times
aren't registered (you don't need those generally anyway).
译为：
为了提高性能，大部分用户会添加<c>noatime</c>挂载选项。由于不记录文件的
访问时间（一般来说你并不需要知道它），这个选项将能够提高系统速度。
