Reborn 1974 Raleigh International. I finished the mechanics today, have a bit of wet sanding and buffing to work on, but, everything is working and functional. Rode it about a mile before dark, wonderful riding old bike.

Stephen,

What a GORGEOUS blue color, complete with matching fenders and chain guard!

How many gears are you running and on what kind of rear hub?

It is a 1976 AW hub that I converted to S5 configuration. 5 gears (well 6 technically, but let us not go there right now) with 27” Sun rims.
The color is a mid 1990s Kia color that is a dead ringer for the color on my wife’s 1967 Robin Hood five speed. I wanted a matching pair for us to ride. The rack installed on her bike was painted at the same time, the rest of her bike is the original color.

"The Pickwick Bicycle Club was formed on the 22nd June, 1870, when six cycling enthusiasts met at the Downs Hotel, Hackney Downs, East London, and decided to form themselves into a bicycle club. As the formation coincided with the death of Charles Dickens the name "Pickwick" was chosen in honour of the novelist. From that time onwards the Pickwick Bicycle Club has an unbroken history as an active cycling organisation and in the worthwhile task of spreading fellowship and conviviality."

One of the quirks is all club members are called by a character in the book and membership is limited to the number of characters in Dicken's book.

153 years and still going. Will the Lake Pepin 3 Speed Tour and ABCE go as long? Stephen, should we all call each other by the name of the steed?
