Dear riders of the realm,

With May swiftly approaching, the thought of fresh air rolling off the shores of Loch Pepin should inspire us to don our finest tweeds and coax our Steeds from their slumber. Climb aboard your saddle, wobble down your road, and ask yourself: didn’t the brakes used to stop better than this? There’s nothing like the chirping of birds and the clatter of three-speed hubs to remind us that cycling is the most dignified way to greet spring.

Other ratchets and pawls:

·  Attendance is at 70, with more Nutters dribbling in weekly. If you haven’t registered yet, now is a great time!

·  Parking in Colvill park is the same as years past; the lot in front of the waterpark is ours for the weekend.

·  Camping in Wabasha will likewise be the same; at Malone Park.

·  Trigger and Bobbie will be providing their famous 3-Speed Lorry service; have your tents and bags transported to the campground as if by magic (tipping is always recommended)!

·  Pre and post ride libations will be held at the Red Wing Brewery.

Best along the path,
