I had lunch at Avery's on Tulane Ave. this past week and can't help but recommend it. The food is terrific and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Inexpensive too. Great seafood, daily specials and po boys. Their buffalo shrimp po boy is amazing. their signature FRIED POTATO SALAD is to die for. there is free parking in the rear. I wholeheartedly recommend it. You are welcome. I always enjoy recommending places where I enjoy eating. Avery's is a winner in my book. And the staff is so friendly and accommodating. Definitely try the Fried Potato salad. delicious. everything is also nicely very served.

I’ve also eaten at Avery’s and love it. Their gumbo is wonderful, with a dark, rich roux and a lot of flavor. They’re very accommodating with special requests and the food is consistently great.
