Hi All,

So many great things are happening here at Genspace we don't know
where to begin!

The most recent is that Genspace was profiled in a two-page article in
Science magazine. The issue is dedicated to the field of synthetic
biology, and the article could not be more positive. Our little
community lab has come a long way since our official opening back in
December.

We've been quite busy this summer. We won an award at the SB5.0
Meeting, hosted a joint FBI/DIYbio conference, held DNA barcoding
training, coached the Columbia University-Cooper Union iGEM team, and
survived both the earthquake and the hurricane. Read all about it in
our Summer 2011 Newsletter.

Finally, we're starting sessions of our two popular courses, the
Biotech Crash Course in September and the Synthetic Biology Course in
October. For more information, go to our NEW updated website www.genspace.org
and click on "Courses".

As always, we LOVE it when you stop by to visit us in Brooklyn! Drop
us an email if you want to check us out.
