JAX-RS not required

Hi Team,

I would like to use genson for general Serialization and deserialization. But I do not want to use JAX-RS provider. By default it is kicking in the code as a provider.

And I have no control to disable as I do not have control on the ClientConfig object:

Is there a jar which is in central maven which just has the core functionality or any other option that I am not aware of?

Would really appreciate help on this.

Hi,

How are you configuring your Jax rs app?

Because at the place where you configure you app you can also disable genson integration with jax rs.
