Hello,

I am Sanjana, a third year undergraduate in Dept of Computer Science and Engineering in Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. I am very much willing to take up the project "Relational database for genome mutations in gene and protein networks". I am quite proficient in python. In addition, I have also done a course on Databases and am familiar with SQL and relational databases. I am familiar with both the theory and the application of databases. I have limited knowledge of genetics too. It would be great if you could guide me how to start with the project.

Thanks
Sanjana Garg

Dear Sanjana,
Thank you for expressing an interest in the Open Genome Informatics group. I have cc’d Juri Reimand, who will be mentoring this project and will have a better understanding of the project requirements than I.
Good luck with your application.
Regards
Robin Haw
