Regarding GSoC 2016 project idea discussion

Hi,

I am Abhishek Singh, a MS by research in Computer Science student from IIIT Hyderabad, India. My areas of interest includes Information Retrieval and Extraction, Machine learning, Deep learning. I have done courses in Natural language Processing, Information retrieval and Machine learning. I also have an inclination towards Physics since my school days. I have sound knowledge C, C++, Python and I am familiar with various open source technologies like Git, Django,, matploitlib, bokeh, d3.js etc.

I have some experience with open source contributions and have contributed to some organizations like MoinMoin, Mozilla, Ubuntu, Tor, Fedora. I contributed to Italian Mars Society as a part GSoC 2014 project where I implemented 'Full body and hand gesture tracking' of astronauts to ERAS virtual station[1][2].

I went through the GSoC 2016 ideas page of Open Genome Informatics and found the project 'AcousticBrainz' quite interesting and promising. My field includes handling large dataset for my research work. I am excited about this project and would like to contribute to it.
