The Genome Infomatics group is organizing the joint efforts of WormBase, Reactome, PortEco, Galaxy, GMOD, GBrowse, JBrowse and SeqWare for Google Summer of Code. This is a great opportunity for students to contribute to the work of three different bioinformatics projects.
