The group is for announcements/discussions about the Genome in a Bottle Consortium (GIAB). GIAB was formed in 2012 to develop reference materials, methods, and data to assess accuracy of genome sequencing. We hold public meetings in Jan in Stanford, CA and in Aug at NIST in MD (genomeinabottle.org).
