GenoCAD v1.6 Released

We are pleased to announce that we have released GenoCAD v1.6. You can
see these features at work by visiting http://www.genocad.org

Parts Management:
o Import/Export Parts capabilities (either tab-delimited or Fasta
format) for easy exchange of data with other users or applications.
o Improvements to the Parts Management and Search interfaces.

Design Tab:
o New, improved Design Screen
o More comprehensive step history that includes the selection of parts
o Ability to save a modified design as a new design (preserving the
original)
o Automatic selection of parts when only one is available
o In addition to exporting designs as a sequence string, can now
export designs in GenBank, Fasta, or Tab-delimited format
o Design validation (and revalidation) features (including BioBrick
designs)
o The ability to sort or filter designs under My Designs
