Dear friends in Indigo Pod,

Welcome to the GENOA Indigo "Learning" pod email group!!  I'm so happy to see all this new energy flowing into and around GENOA. These are exciting times, and I feel so inspired to be working with such beautiful souls. 

Indigo is an important pod for GENOA as it represents insight, perception, framework, worldview, consciousness and paradigm. The pod facilitates dialogues around education, curriculum, learning processes and more. Other functions of the pod include coordinating information flows about Ecovillage Design Education, support for trainings and workshops, organising mandala learning laboratories, think tank for alternative education systems, and networking and sharing between communities, organisations and projects in the region. 

Serena has volunteered to facilitate the Learning Pod for GENOA. Lhundup, Pi and I will be here to support. Thankyou Serena, so happy to have you here with us. 

Others who have volunteered for Indigo are Lurdz, Rebecca, Bhante, Seyoung, Om, Chris, Hiroko and John. 

Over the coming weeks, I will be working with Serena to understand Indigo and its functions deeper. We will check in with you for feedback and input. And hopefully together, we can come up with a strategy on our roles and how Indigo can function to support the network.

We can use this space to share ideas, work on guidelines, communicate about tasks tasks related to Indigo.

Thanks so much for sharing this news. Its so wonderful to hear about the teacher trainings, its reaching so far.

I have been reading the information exchange but have not been able to share much. I am running a teachers trainers workshop for 125 of them. Startibg July 11 we are launching a training for teachers on transformative pedagogy for 9000 teachers, that is total teacher pooulation in Bhutan. At my ecovillage center we are planning to construct a water reserviour using ecobricks. My children are working on it but we do not have enough plastic bottles.

Lhundup, it fills my heart with joy to hear about your training of teachers - what a wide reach!

Yes, Blue would love to post about this on the website and Facebook page. 

A little more information on the subjects of the workshop (what transformative pedagogy means in this context), and / or a few photos, would be fantastic. I'm aware that you're surely very busy preparing the workshop.

Also look forward to learning more and following the process. We're cheering you on from all corners of the continent. :)
