Extending this invitation for the August 2016 Open Forum for GEN.

On another note, I am starting to map out any indigenous inspired, and led activities for a database we are designing for GEN, please let me know if you are doing one so we can learn which ones are doing this in GENOA. This means working with indigenous peoples to bring out their indigenous knowing, practice, and wisdom in your work.

We will explore the relevant topic of how do we partner with Indigenous communities worldwide to support and nourish each other in a respectful and honouring way. We will hear from representatives from our network: from CASA, inspired by their recent gathering Llamado de la Montaña, Macaco from Damanhur with their partnering with Guede Chantier in Senegal, and many more, including you!

Hi Sarah,

Thanks for sending this out! 

Are there any further actions you would like communications to take on this? e.g. forwarding to various groups, etc. Let us know.

I myself am not a part of any indigenous-led activities, noting that in Bali "indigenous" is a gray area word as some Balinese live traditional lifestyles and others are fully immersed in modern livelihoods, with most somewhere in between.
