Hi,
I am using GenMapp 2.1 version with Hs-Std_20070817.gdb database.
When I import my input file with a list of HUGO gene identifiers
(System Code H), the program gives the following error message!
"Gene ID system code "H" in the first data row of your Raw Data File
not in your gene database."
I checked the first row gene and it is a human gene.
I also downloaded the most upto date human database today.
Any reason why this is not working?
Many thanks for your help.

Regards,
Anuj

Hello Anuj,

The HUGO category in the database was causing a bug in MAPPFinder, so
it has been deleted from the database. If you don't have access to any
alternative annotation for your data, I would suggest using the
PathVisio program (http://www.pathvisio.org/Main_Page) instead. You
can get the latest version as well as a tutorial on how to use
PathVisio with data on this page: http://www.pathvisio.org/Help:Tutorial2

Regards,

Kristina
