I am having a problem with my gene ids. I am using RefSeq IDs and it
says the IDs are not in the database. The only way I have been able
to get it to work is using ensamble ids, but when I convert them to
ensamble I lose about half of my genes. can anyone help me with this
problem?

Hello,

The GenMAPP databases have limited support for RefSeq IDs. Your
approach of switching to Ensembl is what I would recommend. What type
of array did the data come from?

We are no longer producing full-fledged databases for GenMAPP, but we
did just release databases for the PathVisio (www.pathvisio.org)
program. PathVisio is very similar to GenMAPP and shares basically all
features of GenMAPP and has some additional features as well. I would
recommend trying to import your data to PathVisio, with the latest
database. You can download both the program and database from
pathvisio.org.

If you want, you can also send your data (GenMAPP-ready input file) to
gen...@gladstone.ucsf.edu so I can test it.

Regards,

Kristina
