Hi, I am trying to set up a Genie job to for a node application (go/cerebro).

I was pointed to this repo: https://stash.corp.netflix.com/projects/NODE/repos/nf-genie/browse it looks like it hasn't been updated in awhile, do you know if it is compatible with the latest API?

Additionally, are there any projects currently using this client, so I could read through an example?

Thank you!
Rachel

Hello Rachel,

That project looks quite old and seems to refer to Genie V2, which is one major version behind (V3 has been out for a while now).

I’m relatively new to the team, but in the last 6 months I haven’t heard of anyone using this client. I don’t believe it’s officially supported.
If you must do Javascript you may need to bring this up to date with the new APIs: https://netflix.github.io/genie/docs/3.2.3/rest/

Alternatively, if you can do Java or Python, we have officially supported Genie clients.
