 We all want confident children - but maybe, just maybe, we are wanting the wrong thing. Let's spend some time to understand confidence and then decide what we want and how to go about giving the child, the best of the child.

Its amusing that the first response most of us give to children - when they express any fear is, "There is nothing to be afraid of!"

Take a moment to think about this - how would such a response help you if you as an adult have any fears. Forget being helpful, such a response actually makes us feel more miserable about ourselves.

We approach fears first from an acceptance perspective. "Its alright to have any fear". Remember fear lurks in the dark corners of our mind - where logic seldom works. Our assertion is that once the child is assured of this - the child would be more open to dealing with it. Who can attend - These sessions are primarily targeted at parents and teachers, but anybody interested in children and in these topics can attend.
