Couple minutes after my prior post the site came back up, then went
down again, then came up again. I was then able to submit my phases
and got a good results page. Still wasn't prompted for a login.

I was able to load http://genie.game-host.org/activelist.htm, and
click through to a "Your Turn!" game ~10 minutes ago. However when I
chose phases and submitted my move, the site went back to "unable to
connect" status, which it still is at this writing.

I noticed it hadn't prompted me for a password yet today -- I wonder
if the server is crashing right now when a login-expired user attempts
to submit a move via a priorly-loaded page.

Hi all,

it seems the server is very slow nowadays.

I'm not sure why as the number of page loads is the same as it has
been for many months. Maybe there are alot of old scripts being active
polling the server but I don't think so as that would should show up
on the pageload count.

I'm looking into it.

I'm thinking of purging the database of old finished games. Maybe this
should speed things up.
