Here's something odd:

Screenshot before: (note which card I selected)

Looks like we've got a real bug here, right? I can't seem to correct this either.

This happened to me in game #106816. Any idea how I can get this fixed?

Well this seems odd..

Did you chose develop or did you have any development bonuses for that
particular development? Since it only asks for two card for what seems
to be Galactic Survey Seti it may either just have switched the images
of those two cards (GSS and Space Marines) and you'll get what you
selected, or you'll get a 6-dev for two cards! ;)
Maybe not the best 6er but whatever! :P

The cost for SETI is correct -- MCV has gal fed and investment
credits. But it is odd that it didn't play the selected card. I
haven't run into that bug myself.

I should probably have mentioned that I have Investment Credits, Galactic Federation and the Develop action bonus. So the cost is correct for Galactic Survey. Space Marines would have been free, after which I could have played Malevolent Lifeforms, and have enough cards left to play Galactic Survey next turn and end the game.

Because I played Galactic Survey instead, I couldn't settle. With no settle the next turn, the game will last a turn longer.

I'm just curious why it occurred to you to take the screenshots, when,
at least in the case of the "before" picture, presumably you didn't
know you were about to run into a bug.

I clicked the back button to take that screenshot, and to check if I really hadn't made some mistake. It was still in the browser cache apparently.

Interesting. I didn't know it would save that.

Does sound like a bug.
