I am trying to marry two people together, but one is already
married... Simple usually, but this is not usual.

I need to marry John Spurling to Elsie Cobly.
But Elsie Cobly is John Spurlings son-in-laws Aunt.

This is because his first wife (Beatuce Spurling) died and he
remarried.

I hope that and the linked screenshot make some sense.

Q: How do I link two existing people in my family tree?

Answer:

Unfortunately we have found that linking two existing people in a
family tree has caused certain user's trees not to display. We have a
team of engineers working exclusively on this issue and have removed
the ability to create new cycles (a person that appears on more than
one placeon a tree) until this is resolved. This means that the
ability to match nodes by email address is turned off for the near
future.

It may take a few weeks to finish this fix. We appreciate everyone's
patience and will update you all as the process moves forward.
