Why once someone has accepted my invitation I can't edit that individual's info on some but on others I can.  My brother and my stepson joined my tree but now I can't edit their information.  My son joined and I can still edit their information.  I'm confused

You can edit a family member's profile until they set a permanent
password. This is one of the many privacy settings that we're looking
to fine-tune based on user input. The reason we chose to leave the
profiles editable until a password is set, is to prevent profiles from
being locked down by people who may check out the site once (after
getting the invitation email) and then decide they don't care to
contribute; in that case, we would want another family member to still
be able to edit their profile.

Thanks for the reply Mike.  Makes sense.  It would be nice though if the original "tree" creator, such as myself still had access to editing.  My brother joined but will want me to put in the information since he claims to not be real computer savvy.  But he did set a password so now I can't edit his information.  I understand that this is still a work in progress and it's got a lot of great features.  I think the potential is amazing.

We're working on a privacy feature that will allow you to specify who
can edit your profile. More on that as we get closer to releasing it!
