Hello,

ExoGENI stitching is offline due to a problem on AL2S. Existing inter-rack connections should be working, however new inter-rack VLAN requests will encounter failures.

We are investigating the problem.

Best regards,

Mert

Hello,

ExoGENI stitching is still offline.

We have completed our work to start using OESS API for stitching. Deployment is scheduled for the week of August 14th. Updates will be posted when ExoGENI stitching is back online next week.

Best regards,

Mert

Hello,

We completed our work and ExoGENI stitching is operational. Inter-rack VLANs can be created.

- Currently, network resources for BBN, UvA-NL, WSU, WVN racks are unavailable for the stitching subsystem. These racks will not be stitched to other ExoGENI racks and we expect to have stitching available for these racks in a few days. Updates will be posted.

- Stitching to OSF rack will not be possible until some infrastructure issues are clarified. Updates about stitching to OSF will be sent later.

- Based on our observation on network behavior, it may take up to two minutes for traffic to be exchanged on some inter-rack connections. This is about the underlying Internet2 infrastructure and we will scrutinize this. On the other hand, stitching is working as expected. Please let us know if you encounter any difficulties.

Best regards,

Mert
