Hi. If you mean between two nodes at the same aggregate, then in general
you get a vlan across an HP Procurve 5406. These are 1GB interfaces.

The exception is if the two nodes are actually VMs on the same physical
host (as two XEN VMs). In this case you are getting a simple bridge of two
virtual interfaces; packets do not go to the switch.
