Courtesy of Rajesh Gopidi there is a new ExoBlog entry describing how to use a customized version of FlowVisor to deal with LLDP topology discovery in OpenFlow slices built using OVS virtual images:

It also talks about how to circumvent this issue when you are not using Flowvisor.
