Hi all,

Please refer the topology in the attachment. I am using igmp of ryu controller for multicasting.
I sending multicast message from Host5, all other hosts listen to receive that multicast message.

tcpdump  on interfaces of OVSs shows messages are reaching to all interfaces of both switches but host interfaces do not see those messages.

Any help please?

I have also attached the multicast message sender & receiver program.

Thank you.

Hi Amjad,

Did you disable mac learning on all of the links?

Can you send us the request RSpec?

Cheers,
Sarah

Amjad,

As a reminder from our conversation awhile back...

Nick says to disable MAC Learning do the following at InstaGENI:

  <link client_id="link-1">
    <vtop:link_attribute key="nomac_learning" value="yep"/>
  </link>
</rspec>

Just add that vtop:link_attribute element to your link sections, and they will disable MAC learning (and add the schema and location in your rspec header)

Good luck,
Sarah
