[geni-users] stitching unsuccessful

Hi,

I have been trying to reserve resources using the stitching service. I let the experiment finish. 

The first time it failed with the error-

Reservation request impossible at <Aggregate illinois-ig>. Malformed request or insufficient resources: AMAPIError: Error from Aggregate: code 2. protogeni AM code: 2: *** ERROR: mapper: Reached run limit. Giving up.

seed = ...

So I repeated the experiment after some time, and it failed with the error-

Reservation request impossible at <Aggregate nysernet-ig>. Malformed request or insufficient resources: AMAPIError: Error from Aggregate: code 2. protogeni AM code: 2: *** ERROR: mapper: Reached run limit. Giving up.

seed = ...

Please suggest how to fix this error.

When you get an error saying "ERROR: mapper" then that often means there aren't enough machines available at the aggregate to service your request.

For us to know for sure, we'd have to see the full error message.

In particular, errors at an InstaGENI rack will include a URL with additional logs. If you send that URL, someone can look more closely at your specific error.

Sorry, we have to figure out a better way to communicate this error to
users! The problem is that there is only a 1Gb uplink for stitching, and
several other slices are using the most of the available bandwidth. Your
three stitched links out of Illinois, ask for more then is currently left
on that link.
