Hi

The following 3 aggregate managers keeps on loading to list the resources.

exogeni.net.bbmvmsite
exogeni.net.fiuvmsite
exogeni.net.rcivmsite

We cannot create a slice until all the managers are finished listing resources.  Even if we create a slice using other resources and hit submit button in Flack it is not allocating resources. ( Flack v 17.26)

It is taking long time.  Is this is known issue ?

Do you have any alternatives?

Thanks

hi,

I have seen some other failures about these three AMs over the weekend so there might be something wrong with them.

If this is causing problems in Flack, there is a way to get around it. After all the AMs you care about have loaded their resources
and you are only waiting for these one press the button on the left top above your username that looks like a cardiograph (tooltip tasks):
http://grab.by/w0oS

This will load all the tasks running in Flack, you can kill any individual process and if Flack keeps retrying you can kill the top process.

Hope this is helpful,
Niky

Did you try to renew all slivers and slice at the same time? Since some of the ams are having trouble, you should just try to renew individual resources. To do this find your aggregate in the big list, add a date and press renew.

Hi,

I am forwarding your email to geni users, because either someone from the portal or Utah will have to help you debug this.

I know that earlier today there was a CPU problem in the portal but that should have been temporary for a short period of time so if this is concistently failing for you, we will have to check on it.

Looking at the current expiration time it looks like your sliver will expire on Wednesday, so it probably did renew it at some point.

Yep, it is set to renew on Weds (Utah sliver).

Thank you for reporting this issue. We believe we have identified a problem on the server, which we hope to address shortly. The problem results in the GENI Portal page failing to update to tell you that your resources were renewed, but be assured that your resources are still being renewed.
