Hi guys,

I got the same error twice.

API error: <Fault 102: 'person_id 2: AddPersonToSite:...
Reservation request impossible at <Aggregate ion>. Aggregate had an internal error: AMAPIError: Error from Aggregate: code 5. sfa AM code: 5: Internal API error: <Fault 102: 'person_id 2: AddPersonToSite:... which caused StitchingServiceFailedError: Error from Stitching Service: code 3: MxTCE ComputeWorker return error message ' Action_ProcessRequestTopology_MP2P::Finish() Cannot find the set of paths for the RequestTopology. '.

It is said that I have an internal error...

What can I do to fix it??

Sincerely,
Jane

Hi Jane,

Someone else probably has more insight into this, but I'll give it a go since other folks might not see your note until after the weekend.

I believe this "AddPersonToSite" error is a known issue.  However, it looks to me like a workaround [1] might have been put in place in omni v2.5.

Can you check what version of omni you are running (just run `omni --version` or `stitcher --version`)?

If you're not running at least 2.5, would you mind upgrading [2] your version of omni and trying again?  If it is at least 2.5, it might be worth a third try for good measure.

If neither of those work, I'm suspicious that the issue will require a fix on the stitching service side.

Good luck,
Sarah Edwards, GPO

Sarah's suggestions are good. See also http://groups.geni.net/geni/ticket/1207

This is a known issue, and should be fixed soon we hope. But in the meantime, try again.

Hi Sarah,

I've checked my version of omni and stitcher, and they are Version 2.5.
Thanks. I think I will keep trying.

Best,
Jane

Hi,
 just across the same error when trying to stiching between Ig-GPO and IG-Utah using omni 2.5 and the omni config generated from the portal.

Here my solution (or maybe i was just lucky)

In my omni config , i set

useslicemembers = False
and
users = <my user id >

This by default has my user id and the Project Lead's id since he/she is added automatically as an admin. I remove the project lead's user id so that it lists only one user.

Something in the error message from ION suggested it was unable to add a second user so i tried this.

 {'output': "Internal API error: <Fault 102: 'person_id 2: AddPersonToSite: Invalid argument: No such site'>", 'geni_api': 2, 'code': {'am_type': 'sfa', 'geni_code': 5, 'am_code': 5}, 'value': ''}
13:14:40 WARNING  stitcher: Stitching failed but will retry: Reservation request impossible at <Aggregate ion>. Aggregate had an internal error: AMAPIError: Error from Aggregate: code 5. sfa AM code: 5: Internal API error: <Fault 102: 'person_id 2: AddPersonToSite:...

actually just using --ignoreConfigUsers also helped without any change to the omni_config from the portal
