Hi,

I am trying to figure out if we have any API that I can use to write logs in post-boot scripts. Users needs be able to see these logs to identify post-boot configuration failure. I was looking at https://geni-orca.renci.org/trac/wiki/NEuca-guest-configuration but did not see anything related to this.

I don't think there's an API for this, but you can certainly have your
post-boot script write log files. http://groups.geni.net/geni/wiki/Dingbot
has more information about Dingbot, which does this, and if you're looking
for a framework to create post-boot scripts in, might be useful.
