Unable to see interfaces except eth0

Hello,

I m not able to see any interface other than eth0 when I issue ifconfig command on geni hosts. Is there any problem ? I am using Vms from UtahDDC.

eth0 is the control interface and every node has one. In your request, did
you ask for links between nodes? If so, extra interfaces should be added
to implement those links to form the experimental topology. If not, then
all you get is the control interface.

Hello ,

Forget to mention that, I am using the XEN VMs from different racks. (UtahDDC and stanford)  It create a GRE tunnel. Resources come up properly but I am not able to ping each other. Only eth0 shows up.

This might not be your problem but if you are using XEN VMs you should use as link type egre and not gre.

Which tool are you using?
