I know that most of us are struggling with doing things online which
are educational and interesting. I love so called "serious games" for
that purpose but of course they take a long time to produce and are
anything but cheap.

A camera team that was working with the Red Cross while I was in Haiti
just created one that I think can be a good example of how to do this
kind of thing. It's basically an offshoot of the documentary they were
doing anyhow and allows players to take on the role of a journalist,
aidworker or survivor and I think it's doing a really decent job
(considering the audience).

I wrote a quick review on my blog: http://sm4good.com/2011/01/10/game-haiti-earthquake-response/

Timo, this piece of work at a 1st glimpse is nothing short of exceptional.
Beautifully realised and produced. Thank you for the introduction to this
work via your blog. This is a must for people to see and experience.
