database developers (non-CMS related)

Hi,

We're looking to develop some [fairly simple] databases to improve our monitoring and reporting processes and I was wondering if anyone had contact names for database developers (SQL or similar, or even people who customise CRMs/ERPs).

Similarly, if anyone has gone through the process of customising databases and would be willing to have a conversation about it, I would be most grateful if you would be willing to share your experiences!
