The Secretariat of the WTO is seeking to fill the position of Website Assistant in the Information and External Relations Division.
The Information and External Relations Division uses a variety of means, such as the WTO website, WTO publications, videos and briefings, to explain the work of the WTO to a wide range of audiences, including journalists, students, NGOs, parliamentarians, the business community and the general public. The Division's work concerns the following five areas: audio-visual, external relations, media/public information activities, publications and WTO website and intranet.
The Website Assistant will work as part of the Operations, Internet and Intranet Section which aims to allow the WTO to communicate as effectively as possible with its target audiences through the use of web-based technology.

Technical knowledge and skills:
Detailed knowledge of web technologies and databases. This includes HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, SQL, JQuery, ASP.NET, Bootstrap.
Excellent knowledge of Adobe applications, particularly Dreamweaver, Photoshop.
Ideally the candidate would also have the ability to work with video equipment (camera and editing software Adobe Premiere Pro).
