to Geneva Touch Rugby
We need:
More cones / markers.
More sets of bibs
Loud speaker
Horn (to announce start and stop of game)
Clock / stop watch
Ideas for how to better mark the try area
Large board for information and a table … we have a board at CERN...
but need someone to help transport it to pitch
Charly O Niells is organising us free food (chips etc...) Need
someone to make a poster with map of how to get there to advertise
this to all the players
More whistles
Who does what??? We need help with...
The set up:
o the pitches
o the table and information board
o the team markers and Teamless Player Pen
A captain for each team
Someone to take charge at the start of the evening:
o Send everyone to their team markers, or to the Teamless players pen
o …then distribute players so every team has enough players including
women
o ... then distribute to each team: A team sheet for the captain to
collect player information, Rules summary, The program for the day
(this will also be up on the board).
Someone to be responsibly for the bibs:
o We want every pitch to have at least one team wearing bibs (make the
referee's job easier)
Table and Board boss:
o After next week this will be Joanna (need someone for next week)
o they will sound horn for beginning and end of matches
o look after the donations box
o sell refreshments
o make note of the scores
o distribute late comers into teams
o Call Donal to let him know when people will be heading to Charly's
Head Referee:
o Make sure every match had a referee and all the referees know what
they're doing
I would like to find a doctor or physio who would like to play or
watch each week
o ...just in case
The organisation of next will be much better than last week
o Emily will supervise while Joanna is away
o When everyone arrives they go to their team marker or the Teamless
players area.
o We will make sure all teams have enough players/women
o We will find our referees and make sure they have a copy of the
rules in English or French
o We will distribute list of matches, team sheets to collect player
info, rules in French and English
o Then we will play
o There will be information board with info on whose playing where,
scores, extra copies of rules
o There will be a donations box (money to go toward end of season
party)
o We will sell refreshments
o Afterwards we all go to Charly's where Donal is putting on some free
food for us (hot chips etc)
Thanks
Joanna
