Indicator 2: timeline for loss?

Hi all,

In our last meeting, the question was raised: Indicator 2: if we’ve lost 90%, have we already failed, or is 90% loss our new baseline? What is the timeline for indicator 2 in relation to “maintain diversity”. Since previous report?

To summarise the discussion:

Indicator 2 in the first year of assessment includes “known loss”, which includes past loss. The target is for no further loss, i.e. for this value to not decrease.
